Cat Blake is an artist whose creative practice spans primarily printmaking and graphic design. Her work is inspired by her childhood growing up in the South and her admiration for its history and culture. She carves and prints linocut blocks to illustrate scenes and objects that characterize her culture, hoping to evoke a sense of nostalgia and a sense of passing time in her audience.
Cat is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Alabama in Birmingham.
